We are a Eco-friendly Travel School
WOW DAY
St Fursey's celebrate National Walk on Wednesday. This National Day encourages children to walk to school. In the past a project was undertaken where pupils walked all the way to school or took part in our park 'n stride event. Parents and children parked at St. Fursey's church and enjoyed a lovely walk across the clump and up the road to school. This is an activity which may happen again in the future. Watch this space!
COW DAY
We also promote the National Cycle on Wednesday to school. Lots of children take part and enjoy getting some fresh air on their cycle to school. This is a wonderful mode of transport to encourage among the student population. The school is equipped with bicycle stands where children can leave their bikes safely for the day. If you live close enough it is something to consider.
SOW DAY
Believe it or not we also enjoy promoting the Scoot on Wednesday day where the children are encouraged to bring their scooters and scoot to school. It is so much fun!
