The children in 5th Class completed a big project on Sustainable homes for the term leading up to the Easter Holidays. As part of a STEAM Design and Make project the children explored the topic of sustainable housing. They learned about sustainable ways of heating homes e.g. Solar Panels. Dermot Clarke our Chairperson of the Board of Management and Engineering Lecturer at the Dundalk Institute of Technology also helped out with this project.

The children immersed themselves fully in the work and created wonderful 3-D house structures. They are showcasing their work to the 6th Class in a Show and Tell in the coming weeks.
